European Researchers’ Night 2026
Researchers from Harokopio University, Univeristy of Bucharest and Innov-acts participating in the Accelerate MSCA project had the opportunity to interact with researchers, university, high and elementary students as well as the wider public to disseminate the project’s goals and results.
During our presentation, participants were introduced to how Accelerate MSCA advances the use of UAVs, AI, and remote sensing for sustainable environmental monitoring. The public had the chance to e
xplore the project’s focus on overcoming key challenges in drone operations and data analysis, while learning about real-world use cases such as coastal litter monitoring, crop health assessment, urban air quality mapping, and cultural heritage documentation.
Our participation was a unique opportunity to communicate science, share results, and bring research closer to society.
