Researchers from HUA participating in the ACCELERATE MSCA project had the opportunity to interact with researchers, university, high and elementary students as well as the wider public to disseminate the project’s goals and results. During this presentation, participants were introduced to how ACCELERATE advances the use of UAVs, AI, and remote sensing for sustainable environmental monitoring. The public had the chance to explore the project’s focus on overcoming key challenges in drone operations and data analysis, while learning about real-world use cases such as coastal litter monitoring, crop health assessment, urban air quality mapping, and cultural heritage documentation. HUA’s participation was a unique opportunity to communicate science, share results, and bring research closer to society.
